In some of your write-ups you will actually need to do a literature search in order to formulate your assessment. You can weave this literature into your assessment and plan. The clinical question should be obvious in the context of the assessment. You should provide the citation of your article(s) as a footnote to the write-up. Make sure you address any key limitations as well as the reason why you do/don’t think the literature generalizes well to your patient. How you choose to apply the literature will also be self-evident in the context of the write up.
Evaluation criteria: Cut and paste the assessment and plan portion of the write-up into this section and it will be evaluating using the EBM evaluation form. You may want to provide a sentence of introduction if you do not think the clinical question is obvious from your assessment.
