Department of Medicine
Divisions
The Department of Medicine is a very robust environment melding
together 10 clinical divisions with our primary missions of
education, patient care and research. With total revenues in
excess of $76 million dollars of which 31% is funded from
our clinical care, 45% funding derived from a broad range of research
endeavors and the remaining 24% comes from State, University and
other contractual relationships. We train in excess of 140 Housestaff annually and participate in the training of another 150
medical students. We are fully accredited by the Residency Review
Committee of the ACGME.
