Bradley S. Bender, MD, has been at the University of Florida since 1986. He is currently a Professor of Medicine with a joint appointment in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. He was previously a staff physician in the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC) and Associate Chief of Staff for Education at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System (NFSG/VHS) and has served as the Chief of Staff since 2003.

Effects of aging on pathogenesis and host defense against viral infections, particularly influenza and HIV..

Clinical Interests:

Comprehensive management of HIV infection.
