Brief History:

Dr. Jyot received her Bachelor Honors degree in Zoology from Delhi University, India. Her Master’s degree was from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and her doctorate on Vibrio cholerae pathogenesis was from Institute of Microbial Technology, India. Her post-doctoral training was at Institute of Microbial technology, Tata Energy Research Institute and at University of Florida in Microbial Pathogenesis.

Academic Interests:

Dr. Jyot’s academic interests include research on the pathogenesis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in the lungs and the role of the flagellum of Pseudomonas in disease.
