Richard A. Davidson, MD, MPH
Professor of Medicine
Dr. Richard A. Davidson is Alumni Distinguished Teaching Professor, Director of the Office of Interdisciplinary Education, Office of the Senior Vice President for Health Affairs, Professor and Director of the Office of Generalist Education at the University of Florida, College of Medicine.
Dr. Davidson earned his B.A. in biology and his M.D. while attending Vanderbilt University, Nashville Tennessee. Dr. Davidson completed his Internship/Residency training in Internal Medicine from 1972 to 1974 at Vanderbilt University Hospital and served as Senior Resident of Internal Medicine from 1976 to 1977. Dr. Davidson's fellowship was completed at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar, and earned the title of Master of Public Health in 1980.
