Melanie Gross Hagen, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Hagen is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida. She practices general internal medicine at Park Avenue Internal Medicine Associates. She teaches primary care internal medicine to medical students and internal medicine and gynecology residents at the Park Avenue office. She is also participates in teaching communication, history and physical exam skills in the Essentials of Patient Care course for medical students. Dr. Hagen's particular areas of interest include geriatrics, diabetes, musculoskeletal disease and psychiatry.
Dr. Hagen graduated magna cum laude form Barnard College, Columbia University in 1984. She graduated from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1992. She completed a residency in primary care internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in 1995. She has practiced at the University of Florida since January 2000.
She is was board certified in Internal Medicine in 1995. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
