Aida C. Vega, MDAida C. Vega, MD received her BA from New York University in 1975 and MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 1980. She was an intern in Boston from 1980-1981 in Internal Medicine and a resident at University of Connecticut from 1981-1983. Dr. Vega has been employed with the Department of Internal Medicine since 1994. She is currently the Director at the Park Avenue Clinic and also of the 4th Year Ambulatory Elective for Medical Students. She was board certified in 1983. She is a member of the medical section committee. She is also a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine American Medical Association.

1997 Dr. Vega developed the Internal Medicine @ Tower Hill clinic for the Division of Internal Medicine and the Department of Medicine. It is widely considered the most successful ambulatory clinic in the College of Medicine according to clinical, educational and financial metrics. Highlights include: expansion from 7500 to 23,000 visits; major clinical teaching site for medical students and residents; new bone densitometry program; supervision of 11 physicians, one Physician Assistant and 20 support staff.
