There are several tracks in this training program:

The research training program years will count as years 2 and 3 for the ACGME. All physician-scientist candidates will have a research mentor and a clinical mentor. This dual mentor approach is designed to keep the research training relevant to the clinical interests of the candidates.
2. Basic Scientist Track
The basic scientist track is for PhDs who would like to pursue post-doctoral training in Nephrology. Basic science candidates should contact a mentor directly to discuss post-doctoral training opportunities.
